Product Details

Description:

GC everX Flow Dentin is a short-fiber-reinforced flowable composite developed for use as a dentin replacement material in direct restorative procedures. Supplied in a 2 mL syringe containing 3.7 g of material, the Dentin shade is designed for cases where a more opaque appearance and aesthetic result are desired. everX Flow incorporates short glass fibers that reinforce the composite structure and help improve fracture toughness. GC describes the fibers as functioning similarly to reinforcing bars in concrete, helping distribute stress and redirect cracks within the restoration. This makes everX Flow particularly suitable as a reinforcing substructure for large, weakened, or cracked teeth. The material is indicated for dentin replacement in direct composite restorations, including large posterior cavities, deep cavities, endodontically treated teeth, cavities with missing cusps, and cases where significant tooth structure has been lost. It can also be used for core build-up procedures. The Dentin shade is designed for placement in layers up to 2 mm and offers higher opacity than the Bulk shade, making it appropriate when improved aesthetic integration is desired. everX Flow has a highly thixotropic injectable consistency that allows it to flow and adapt to the cavity floor without excessive slumping, including when placed in upper molars. This handling characteristic can help simplify adaptation to complex preparations and support efficient placement. The material is intended to serve as a dentin-replacement or reinforcing substructure and should be covered with a conventional restorative composite to provide the final enamel layer and external contour. The combination of short glass fibers and full-coverage silane technology helps reinforce the material and contributes to its fracture-resistant characteristics. The 2 mL/3.7 g syringe format is supplied with dispensing tips for controlled application. As a light-cured composite, everX Flow should be used according to GC's current instructions for use, including recommended cavity preparation, placement thickness, curing, and veneering procedures. Overall, everX Flow Dentin provides clinicians with a fiber-reinforced flowable composite solution for strengthening large or compromised restorations while maintaining injectable handling and adaptation. Its Dentin shade is particularly useful where dentin replacement and improved aesthetic results are required.
