Product Details
Description:
The IMP 24948 – Implant Pick-Up 3.5/4.0 – Long 26MM is a precision-designed, long-format impression coping optimized for open-tray procedures involving 3.5mm and 4.0mm platform implants. With a 26mm overall length, it is particularly suited for deep implant placements, thick mucosal tissue, and multi-unit or full-arch cases requiring extended vertical access and enhanced visibility.
This non-engaging impression coping is intended for splinted or multi-unit restorations, where rotational indexing is not required. Its passive geometry allows for coordinated alignment across multiple implants, minimizing stress during final prosthesis fabrication and improving passive fit accuracy.
The coping remains embedded in the impression material during tray removal, ensuring accurate transfer of implant position and angulation to the laboratory model. Retentive grooves along its length enhance adhesion to elastomeric materials such as polyether and PVS, preventing displacement and reducing the risk of impression distortion.
Manufactured from high-quality, biocompatible materials, the IMP 24948 provides exceptional dimensional stability and mechanical reliability throughout the impression-taking process. Its extended design improves access to difficult-to-reach posterior or subgingival implants, allowing for efficient tray seating and coping retrieval.
The IMP 24948 is fully compatible with Astra Tech analogs, restorative platforms, and standard open-tray impression screws in the 3.5/4.0 system. It integrates seamlessly into both analog and digital workflows, supporting verification jigs, CAD/CAM planning, and full-arch restorative designs.
Delivered non-sterile, the coping must be sterilized in accordance with clinical protocols before use. This long-format pick-up component is a valuable tool for clinicians performing high-precision impressions in anatomically demanding or prosthetically complex cases.
