Description:
The IMP 8035-08 Legacy Open Tray Transfer is a specialized impression coping designed for use with Legacy 3.5 mmD platform implants. It enables clinicians to capture highly accurate implant-level impressions using the open tray (pick-up) technique, which is ideal for full-arch cases, tilted implants, and other complex restorative scenarios.
This transfer coping features precise machining to ensure a snug and stable fit onto the implant interface. Constructed from strong and corrosion-resistant materials, it maintains dimensional integrity even under the pressure of impression materials and clinical handling.
During an open tray impression, the coping is screwed into the implant, and the impression is taken with the screw head exposed through an opening in the tray. After setting, the coping is unscrewed and removed along with the tray, allowing for the exact spatial orientation of the implant to be transferred to the model.
The 8035-08 includes retentive elements that lock into the impression material to prevent rotation or displacement, ensuring accuracy during analog placement. Its design also includes visual alignment marks for easier intraoral placement and verification.
