The IMP 8745-05 Legacy Closed Tray Transfer is a concave-profile impression component designed for 4.5mm platform implants. It supports the closed-tray (indirect) impression technique by enabling accurate transfer of implant position, angulation, and orientation to the master model—especially in posterior cases or sites with limited intraoral access.
Manufactured from biocompatible, medical-grade materials, the component offers strength, dimensional precision, and compatibility with digital and analog workflows. Its concave body contours to peri-implant tissue during impression-taking, helping preserve the emergence profile for esthetic continuity in the final restoration.
During the procedure, the transfer is threaded directly into the implant and remains intraorally while the tray is removed. It is then reinserted into the impression prior to model fabrication, ensuring accurate orientation without disrupting soft tissue contours.
The 4.5mm platform fits Legacy systems designed for wider abutments and posterior prosthetic applications. The anti-rotational interface improves seating accuracy and minimizes positional error during lab processing.
