The SprintRay ProWash S is an automated post-processing system designed specifically for dental 3D printing workflows, providing a consistent and streamlined method for washing and drying 3D-printed dental parts before post-curing. The system combines a two-stage solvent washing process with dedicated high-performance drying, allowing printed parts to be cleaned and thoroughly dried in approximately 9 minutes. Its mechanical jetting technology uses an optimized motor and precision-manufactured propeller to circulate washing solution around printed components, helping remove uncured resin efficiently across different model geometries and compatible resin types. Following the primary wash, the second chamber provides a fresh rinse designed to improve surface cleanliness before the drying stage. The ProWash S incorporates a dedicated drying fan that channels air directly into the wash chamber, providing significantly improved drying performance and helping ensure printed parts are dry before post-curing. The unit supports both platform washing and basket washing, with a platform wash envelope of approximately 7 x 5 x 3 inches and a basket wash envelope of approximately 7 x 5 x 5 inches. Each reservoir has a capacity of up to 2 liters, with 1 liter specified as the minimum wash solution requirement per reservoir. Compatible washing liquids include 91% isopropyl alcohol, which SprintRay recommends, as well as 99% isopropyl alcohol and ethanol. Intelligent solvent management is another key feature of the ProWash S. Capacitive sensors monitor liquid levels, while two pre-calibrated hydrometers monitor solvent saturation to help users determine when washing solution requires attention or replacement. The system also includes quick-connect drain ports and a drain hose to simplify liquid handling and maintenance. A 5-inch color touchscreen provides guided operation and displays wash and dry settings, while onboard computing supports over-the-air software updates. The ProWash S can connect through Wi-Fi or Ethernet and integrates with SprintRay Cloud, enabling automatic transfer of job information from compatible SprintRay printers through the washing stage and onward to compatible curing equipment. Safety features include automatic start and stop sensors, platform-versus-basket detection, and fill-level monitoring to help guide operation and reduce user error. The unit measures approximately 12 x 12 x 18 inches and operates on 100–240 V power through its DC adapter.
