The IMP 26167 MULTIBASE AB EV 3.6 17×2.5MM NI is a tall multi-base abutment designed for Astra Tech EV implants with a 3.6 mm platform. With a total height of 17 mm and a 2.5 mm collar, it offers extended prosthetic support while shaping soft tissue with a more prominent collar profile.
Made from grade 5 titanium, this abutment delivers excellent strength and biocompatibility, making it suitable for immediate or early loading. The 2.5 mm collar is ideal for moderate tissue thickness, allowing gentle tissue engagement and emergence profile development without adding unnecessary bulk.
It features a conical EV connection and internal hex interface for anti-rotation and stability, supporting torque up to 35 Ncm. This allows screw-retained restorations to be placed directly on the same component used during healing, simplifying the restorative process.
The 17 mm height accommodates long-span provisionals or cases requiring added vertical clearance due to occlusal demands. By eliminating the need for separate healing abutments, it reduces inventory and chairside time.
