The IMP 8045-08 Legacy Open-Tray Implant Transfer is a precision-crafted impression coping designed to accurately replicate the 3D position of implants with a 4.5 mm diameter platform. Used in the open-tray (pick-up) impression technique, the coping is attached to the implant before the impression is taken. A tray with an access hole allows the retaining screw to remain exposed. Once the impression material has set, the screw is removed and the coping is picked up with the tray, preserving the implant’s spatial orientation.
Made from high-strength, medical-grade materials, this coping resists distortion during impression-taking and model fabrication. It includes retentive features that lock securely into the impression material, preventing movement or rotation.
