SternTek® Custom Tray Material, Blue

Description:

Sterngold SternTek® Custom Tray Material, Blue, is a light-cured material for the preparation of custom impression trays. Polymerization is achieved with the usual UV light and/or halogen light units, so most offices can use the equipment they already have to cure the tray.

Contents: 50 sheets per box (SKU 222002). The material is available in rose and blue sheets, so the office can choose the color it prefers or keep both on hand. Rose is available as SKU 222001 and blue as SKU 222002.

Where it fits: custom trays allow the clinician to take more accurate final impressions, with a uniform thickness of impression material and better support for the material in the mouth. They are commonly used for complete dentures, partial dentures, and fixed prosthodontics, and for implant impressions where an open or closed tray technique is chosen.

Handling: the sheet is adapted to the study model, trimmed, and light cured. Because it is light cured, the tray can be fabricated in a short time, which helps the team move from model to final impression without waiting for a self-curing material to set.
